Advent

He shall take his place as shepherd by the strength of the LORD by the majestic name of the LORD his God.

And they shall dwell securely, for now his greatness shall reach to the ends of the earth:

He shall be peace.

Micah 5:3-4

Resources for Advent

The Christ Child Becomes One with Us

Are you ready to bring Jesus home to your house...He will be coming soon! Are you ready?

During Advent, as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ, we invite you to experience FORMED - an online Catholic resource for listening, watching, and reading on a variety of Catholic topics. Take time this Advent season to pray and reflect individually and as a family. Click here for a list of resources we encourage you and your family to use this Advent season.

Opportunities to Serve this Advent

There are many ways to serve during this Advent Season including the Fall Food Drive and Food Box Delivery, Father's Heart Street Ministry Van, Giving Tree. For more information about these opportunities and to sign up to serve, click here.

Parishioners are always needed to volunteer for Liturgical Ministries during the Advent Season, not only for our extra Masses at Christmas, but also to fill in for those who need a sub during their normally scheduled time.

An Advent Prayer

Let not our souls be busy inns

that have no room for you and yours,

but quiet homes of prayer and praise

where You may find fit company,

where the needful cares of life

are wisely ordered and put away,

and wide, sweet spaces kept for You,

where holy thoughts pass up and down

and fervent longings

watch and wait your coming.
