Novena to Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto

Suggested prayer dates: April 20 - 28

Novena to Sts. Francisco and Jacinta Marto

On April 20 after the movie showing (see above), we will pray the first day of the nine-day Novena. Prayer sheets will be available for people to take home. Additionally, they are downloadable by clicking the link above.

People are encouraged to pray the Novena prayers every day from April 20 through April 28. It is customary to have a special intention in mind when praying a nine-day novena, or you may also pray for the intentions of Our Blessed Mother.

On April 28 (the final day of the novena) the final Novena prayers will be prayed in the presence of the IPVS (International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima).

About the Statue

The International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima (IPVS) was sculpted in 1947 according to visionary Lucia’s instructions, was blessed by the Bishop of Fatima and sent out to bring the graces of Fatima and Our Lady’s message to the world. The statue depicts Our Lady’s appearance when she revealed herself as the Immaculate Heart to the three children of Fatima in 1917. In 1952, Pope Pius XII blessed the statue and the work of the Fatima pilgrim tours. The statue has visited more than 100 countries, bringing the message of salvation and hope to millions of people. The mission of this world-famous statue is under the auspice of the World Apostolate of Fatima USA—Our Lady’s Blue Army—which continues her journey throughout the world.
