There are many ways to LOVE GOD at Our Lady of the Lake through Litrugical Minstires and participating with the OLL Vocations Committee. By serving God in these ways we are putting Him first. Click on the links below to explore these ministries.

Liturgical Ministries

Love God by taking an active role in the Mass.

Opportunities to serve during the Mass include Lectors, Ushers and Greeters, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Altar Servers, and Music Ministers.

Opportunities to serve outside of the Mass include Arts and Environment and Altar Linens.

Vocations Ministry

The mission of the Vocations Ministry is to promote a “culture of vocations” at Our Lady of the Lake, particularly in encouraging the vocation to diocesan priesthood. Promoting a “culture of vocations” means to pray and trust in God's guidance, to invite and challenge men and women to reflect on their baptism call to holiness, and to witness with evangelical joy God's call to service in His Church.

  • Priestly Ordinations – June 15, 2019 All are welcome to attend the ordinations to the priesthood at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Portland

At Our Lady of the Lake, we are promoting Vocations through day retreats with Youth Ministry to Mt Angel Abbey, Andrew Dinners, and other talks and events, including Vocations Mass with Fr. Jeff Eirvin and a presentation on his Camino Walk.

These pictures were from the Andrew Dinner hosted in 2016. Vocations volunteers cooked and hosted priests and young men discerning vocational ministry. The other is the picture from the accompanying Mass.
