Natural Family Planning and Creighton Model System
Our Lady of the Lake parishioners Dr. Grace Jazrawi and Megan Kreft specialize in the practice of CrMS and NaProTECHNOLOGY and are excited to intorduce the community to the Creighton Model System.
Natural family planning (NFP) respects the dignity of human life and the sacredness of marriage, and is in accord with Catholic church teaching. Using NFP, a woman or couple learns to track signs of her fertility, therefore being able to achieve or avoid pregnancy. Although there are many methods of NFP, the Creighton Model is unique in that it is used in NaProTECHNOLOGY, (Natural Procreative Technology), a women’s health science which helps diagnosis and treat various underlying issues including infertility, irregular cycles, recurrent miscarriage, ovarian cysts, PMS, endometriosis and more. It is a fertility-care based medical approach rather than a fertility-control approach to family planning and gynecological health. NaProTECHNOLOGY is based on thirty years of scientific research in the study of normal and abnormal states of the menstrual and fertility cycles.
