About Adult Confirmation 2026-27
Our next Adult Confirmation group will begin on Wednesday, Oct 7th, from 6:30-8:30pm. It will conclude in May 2027.
Please use the button below to register. The Confirmation group will meet alongside OCIA students, but you will not be required to attend every OCIA session.
You are of course invited (and encouraged) to attend everything, but the assumption is that you already understand the foundations of the Catholic faith.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation and is the way God pours out his strength and wisdom into us.
For this reason, you are encouraged to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church prior to receiving the sacrament of marriage. In this way, you are equipped with God's grace for unity. It is also a requirement when becoming a Catholic Godparent. Confirmation itself typically takes place at St. Mary's Cathedral with Archbishop Sample (date TBD).
